Changing text edit window

Changing text edit window
change cols=' ' & rows=' '
The text edit window that controls default and simple page templates is under system/currentversion/templates/default and called edit.xsl.

Find the HTML textarea that calls out the columns and width. change to 95 by 19 to fit most 1024 by 768 screens, the word "Text:" can be omitted to pick up another row.

Additionally the header.xsl under system/currentversion/templates/ can be modified to omit the icon and verbage, picking up substantially more text edit space.

This is for those who use the edit interface a lot and want a larger working text area when editing pages in the edit interface. Additionally text area can be controlled to fit into sites with small working edit areas. For sites with a small text window, create an alternate framework that allows for simple text viewing and under "Advanced" switch to this framework to facilitate changes in text then switch frameworks back to original style to view the results in the windowed space.
