I don't want to have to type it in every time I open my email program but if a notebook is stolen or lost, they would be able to see your in-box.
Outlook Authentication Required:
Depends on the type of authentication. Generally we don't require authentication. POP3 is a form of authentication itself.
If there is a question about SMTP. Try to use mail.iacl.com. Thus if you use spam protection, you'll whitelist your outbound messages but only if you can use mail.iacl.com as your SMTP server in Outlook. Ask Charter or whoever to allow you to use mail.iacl.com as your SMTP server if it appears to be blocked.
